Insurance | Onboarding Letter Enhancements

More clarity and a revised delivery process for the letter sent directly to clients after a new contract is issued.

In response to the needs of advisors, iA Financial Group has made certain improvements to the content and delivery mechanism for the onboarding letter that accompanies all new individual insurance contracts generated through the EVO platform.

This onboarding letter includes information such as the main contract specifications, the steps for accessing My Client Space and instructions for requesting more information from the advisor or from iA Financial Group.

Revised process
We now send the letter directly to the client's home only once the policy is in force (starting on the 30th day after the contract is issued). At the same time, a copy of the document is made available in the Advisor Centre and My Client Space in case of need.

Adapted content
Thanks to this change to the letter issuing process, we were able to adapt and simplify the content to avoid any confusion.

The document now systematically states that the policy is in force and that no action is required on the part of the client, rather than indicating that the policy's entry into force is conditional and that validations may be required. Also, the "Important" section, which listed the eligibility requirements, has been replaced with an "Important Document" section, which simply encourages the client to keep the letter and the enclosed policy summary as a convenient reference tool.
