To guarantee processing within 2025 tax year deadlines, please ensure that your transactions are **electronically confirmed and submitted** by the deadlines indicated in this article.  - **Transaction verification**: Before finalizing your transactions, check to make sure that the contribution amounts and contract numbers are correct. Pay particular attention to spousal RRSPs. Please DO NOT send duplicate requests. - **Follow-up on your requests**: You may follow-up on your transaction requests through the Business Tracker tab available in your Advisor Centre. Customer service does not store more information than is available on your screen. - **Contribution refused**: If a contribution is refused by the client’s financial institution (insufficient funds, incorrect bank account, unavailable funds, etc.), the tax receipt will be cancelled. - **Request for an adjustment**: If you need to request a transaction adjustment, please notify us as soon as possible, and before March 31, 2026, to avoid additional delays in issuing amended tax receipts. Your requests must be accompanied by a supporting letter (letter of indemnity if applicable) and fees may apply. RRSP contributions | Transactions via EVO and inter-institution transfers | **Deadline: Monday, March 2, 2026**   Before 11:59 pm (Eastern time) | A [**contribution**](https://iaa.secureweb.inalco.com/cw/-/media/documents-repository/individual-insurance-savings-and-retirement/individual-savings-and-retirement/2019/06/prod11055490.pdf) via EVO Contribution must be confirmed by the advisor once the client has signed electronically. Processing times for electronic transfers can vary from a few days, depending on the financial institution. Please take this into consideration to make sure payment is received on or before March 2. | | --- | --- |   RRSP contributions | Inter-contract requests | **Deadline: Monday, March 2, 2026** | Electronic or handwritten signature of Inter-contract requests must be **dated on or before March 2**. The contribution deadline is always March 2 (signature date). However, **March 6** is the deadline for receipt of transaction forms by our administrative teams. | | --- | --- |   RRSP loan | Transactions via EVO | **End of interest rate discount: Friday, January 30, 2026** **Deadline to ensure a response before March 2: Friday, February 13, 2026** | Whether accepted or not, we cannot guarantee a response to your RRSP loan application before March 2 if it is received after February 13. In case of denial of an application submitted after February 14, we cannot guarantee that a contribution will be applicable for the first 60 days of the year. | | --- | --- |   ### Reminder – RRSP loan - Please ensure that your file is complete and contains all supporting documents. These vary according to loan amount and term.
