Sébastien Mc Mahon is appointed Chief Economist at iA Financial Group, effective immediately, reflecting the growing scope and visibility of his contributions to the organization within the industry.
In his new role as Chief Economist, Sébastien Mc Mahon will dedicate 100% of his time to supporting iA Financial Group broadly, providing forward‑looking economic research, analysis and media insights. His work will provide insights to the organization’s investment teams, iA’s lines of business, and its clients.
While his mandate no longer includes direct portfolio management, Sébastien will continue to support the Asset Allocation team with timely perspective and analysis.

Important This transition does not result in any changes to the funds he previously managed. These funds remain under the responsibility of the same group of proven professionals, led by Tej Rai, Managing Director, Asset Allocation, and Alex Bellefleur, Senior Vice-President, Head of Research, Asset Allocation, iA Global Asset Management (iAGAM). All of our documents will be updated to reflect this change.
