• We do everything we can to respect RRSP contribution deadlines. Exceptionally, it may take longer than usual to process other requests.

To speed up request processing and avoid duplicates, DO NOT send your request by email or fax in addition to sending the original documents.

A one-time contribution (one-time PAD) must be confirmed by the advisor once the client has signed electronically:

• Before midnight (Eastern time)
  At Head Office or the Toronto service centre
• Before 9 pm (Pacific time)
  At the Vancouver service centre

Transactions must be approved at the agency:

• Before 4 pm (Eastern time)

Between March 1 and 3, 2022:

• you must choose the first 60 days of the year contribution period.
• the signature date must be March 1, 2022, or before.

Tuesday, March 1, 2022, or before

• Date documents are signed.
• Date original compliant cheques are signed.
• Date of one-time PAD. The document may also contain the statement “Immediate deduction”.
• Date the electronic transfer is received at iA.
