To highlight how far we’ve come with these tools, we would like to present you with a brief history of EVO, which has been supporting you for more than five years now!
Where did EVO come from?
In 2015, EVO was first implemented to replace our prior electronic applications. It enabled us to lay the foundations for a fundamental transformation of our digital environment.
Here, in chronological order, are the enhancements made to EVO over the years!
- 2015: We launched EVO to improve the data entry experience for electronic applications.
- 2016: EVO celebrated its first birthday. We implemented electronic signature and loosened medical requirements for amounts up to $1M.
- 2017: We introduced the electronic RESP enrolment tool, which paved the way for the arrival of EVO Savings.
- 2018: To streamline insurance, we enhanced the EVO integrated illustration experience for access to a more comprehensive overview of products.
- 2019: We loosened medical requirements for amounts up to $2M and added Genesis universal life insurance with YRT costs to EVO. The EVO simplifying savings portal was launched allowing for fully electronic TFSA and RRSP enrolment.
- 2020: We added iA PAR participating life insurance to experience driven EVO and increased client self-service features!
In 2021, our digital transformation will continue with further additions to the iA digital family that will allow you to reach even further heights!
