In order to adapt our offering to today’s economic context and the changing financial reality of clients, we are significantly increasing the maximum disability and overhead expense benefit amounts under our Superior Program and Universal Loan Insurance.
These increases give you the opportunity to contact clients in the targeted occupational classes to talk about the new options. They also aim to:
- Better respond to the insurance needs of your clients, particularly those in higher occupational classes and business owners who have significant financial commitments or operating expenses
- Help you promote the importance of disability coverage among your clients, with solutions and riders adapted to various types of occupations
- Reinforce the value of our offering as a leading living benefits insurer in Canada
Superior Program – Disability income insurance and overhead expense insurance
For the Superior Program disability insurance, the increases affect occupational classes B, 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A:

The non-integrated maximum benefit amounts are also increased for income replacement coverage. They increase from $1,200 to $2,000 per month for the first two years.
Universal Loan Insurance
For Universal Loan Insurance, the increases apply to classes 1A, 2A, 3A and 4A. The maximum amount has been doubled for clients in class 4A. Don’t hesitate to contact them to share the news.
