Facilitate recruitment with social media!📱

Post job openings directly on your Facebook and LinkedIn pages!

With millions of daily users, social media is essential these days when it comes to recruiting capable employees. Thanks to the tools available to you, finding quality candidates has never been easier!

Here’s how to recruit using the two social media sites we mentioned:

Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook business page. In the Create section at the top of the page, click on Job.
  2. Next, on the left, enter the details concerning the position: job title, work location, job type (full-time/part-time), a short description of the position, a photo.
  3. If you wish, you can add a salary range and questions you’d like to ask, such as: “When can you start?” or “How many years of experience do you have?”.
  4. Applications will be sent to your page’s inbox. However, you can also add an e-mail address to which applications will be forwarded, if you prefer.
  5. Finally, click on Next at the bottom of the page, then click Publish.

*Keep in mind that your posting will remain active for a set period of 30 days. After that time, only your page’s administrators (you) will be able to see the post. Also, note that your job postings must abide by Facebook page policies.

LinkedIn:

  1. In the navigation menu at the top of your page, click on the Jobs
  2. Click on Post a job.
  3. You’ll then be asked to enter the details concerning the position to be filled, such as job title, job description, job location, and skills required for the position.
  4. Finally, you’ll have to indicate to LinkedIn how you want to receive applications. You’ll be able to enter your agency’s e-mail in order to receive applications at that address.
  5. Click Post job for free.

Recommendations:

  • Create personalized links with candidates who contact you. Do not reply with a generic message.
  • Announce that you’re recruiting. On LinkedIn, this will help you attract candidates. Remember to use relevant hashtags to increase your visibility.
  • Integrate LinkedIn groups to network and find candidates.

Finally, be sure to share the job postings created by your colleagues and ask them to do the same for you. This way, you’ll create greater visibility for your postings and reach a larger number of candidates.
