With the arrival of the new year, we wish to remind you of the importance of following the Market Conduct Standards Code (“Code”) implemented by Industrial Alliance Insurance and
Financial Services Inc. (“iA”) and which sets out the guiding principles for intermediaries with regards to the distribution of iA’s financial products and services, including those related to the fair treatment of customers.

Market Conduct Standards Code
The objective of the Code is to establish iA's expectations towards its intermediaries with regards to the distribution of iA's financial products and services.
iA expects each intermediary having a distribution agreement with iA to familiarize him/her/itself with the Code and adopt the principles set out therein. Where applicable, iA also expects that the Code be immediately deployed within the intermediary's organization.
