In Canada, the two Asian languages spoken by native speakers are Chinese1 (1.3 million) and Punjabi (543,500)2. In 2016, these communities represented a little more than 5% of the Canadian population and this percentage continues to grow from year to year.
A personalized approach
To facilitate conversations with existing and potential clients whose first language is Chinese or Punjabi, iA has published 26 documents in Chinese and 11 documents in Punjabi in the Document Centre. Several new features have recently become available online!

- Go to the Advisor Centre
- Select the Document Centre tab
- In the business line column on the left, select Individual Insurance and Individual Savings and Retirement.
- In the same column under Language, Mandarin and Punjabi should appear.
- Select the desired language and the available documents will appear
