The title Financial Advisor is prohibited.
An intern must always present themselves as a Life Insurance trainee.

In several provinces, including Ontario, the titles Financial Advisor and Financial Planner are protected. Only advisors who have obtained these titles from a regulator-accredited organization may use them.

Please note that for advisors who have the privilege of being listed on iA Financial Group's “Talk to an Advisor” page, only the title of Life Insurance Advisor is permitted.
