Keep your clients informed, even when you’re out of the office.

Summer is just around the corner! Many of you will go on vacation and be away from the office.

Some of your clients may have questions in your absence. To make sure they have support, make sure that they have a resource person who can meet their needs.

Here are two best practices to adopt before leaving on vacation:

  1. Automated email replies

Create an automated email reply to directly inform people who contact you that you’re out of the office. E.g.:

How do you do it? It’s easy! Check out the procedure, depending on your application: Outlook, Gmail.

  1. Social media

Inform your followers on your professional social media pages that you will be unavailable and let people know when you’ll be back. That will let your clients know why you’re not as active on your pages.
