Starting September 3, certain disability and critical illness insurance files that include rated premiums or exclusions will be processed faster thanks to the increasing automation and simplification of our underwriting process.
This improvement will help you obtain decisions more quickly, advance your files more efficiently and provide a better experience for your clients, all while counting on the same rigorous risk assessment and competitive pricing and terms.
What’s changing
Quicker decisions
When rated premiums or exclusions apply, the policy is generated with the best possible offer based on the available information, sometimes without going through the Offer of Decision to the Agent stage. In some cases, automation makes it possible to obtain a decision at the point of sale.
Clearer follow-up
These files will be clearly indicated in Business Tracker. You will be able to quickly identify files requiring your attention, understand the decisions made and access details about the rated premiums or exclusions—along with the reasons behind them—in just one click.
More autonomy
Important actions are now grouped together in the Advisor Centre, giving you more autonomy to manage your files. You can easily:
- Accept the policy
- Modify the policy
- Decline the policy
Exceptions
- VIP policies
- Genesis product and Wealth Maximizer option*
- iA PAR product*
*Note that these files require a new illustration when a rated premium applies.
In a nutshell
- Quicker issue of certain policies thanks to automation
- Easier identification of files with rated premiums or exclusions
- One-click access to decision details
- More autonomy with grouped actions in Business Tracker
By automating certain steps, we enable you to spend more time doing what matters most: advising your clients.
