There are several advantages to posting frequently on your professional Facebook page with content related to your financial services! Unlike your personal page, not only does it allow you to appear more professional, it also allows you to:
- Post your work contact information.
- Have access to page and audience statistics.
- Advertise.
- Have a comments section to highlight client recommendations.
Here are a few recommendations that will help you have the perfect page!
Appropriate presentation
- Your first name, last name and job title are clearly indicated.
- Your profile picture is professional: neat appearance, pale and neutral background.
- Your cover photo corresponds to what is recommended by iA, available in the Web Showcase
- You have a short description in the “About” section.
- You have identified at least one category that represents your page (e.g. insurance company).
- Your URL is personalized by modifying your username with your full name. This will help people find you easier on Facebook.
Contacts and contact information
- Your contact information is clearly visible: telephone number, email address, instant messaging.
- Your various social media platforms are identified and accessible.
- Your websites are identified and accessible (if applicable).
- If you want, add the times during which you can be contacted to make sure that you can reply to your existing and potential clients.
