In a report published in 2019, the Canadian Internet Registration Authority (CIRA) observed that Canadians are using the Internet now more than ever. In fact, one in five Canadians declare never spending more than eight hours without going online.
But what are these Internet users, who admit taking their phone everywhere and browsing often while watching TV? They send emails, do their banking, read the news, shop and, obviously, go on social media.

In this context, how can one justify avoiding the digital world? These days, a business without a website doesn’t exist…or almost. What if this was also true for networks like LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and others? Clearly, professionals benefit from having increased exposure on more than one network to reach as many people as possible.

Try to offer tailored content, address your audience directly and prioritize consistent messaging across all your social media. Also, share the links from your various platforms among them. This will allow your clients to visit all of them. Finally, use all the features offered by these two platforms, for example :
- Facebook: Schedule appointments online, ads, Messenger, Videos (posts, stories, Live)
- Instagram: Video (posts, Stories, IGTV, REELs)
